Job description

Purpose of the Position

(Short Summary of the Role):

As the Compliance Officer (CO) of SAVWIPL implements and monitors an effective Compliance Management System in accordance with the International Compliance standards, local legal requirements, Skoda Auto standards and decisions and VW-Group instructions. This includes also development of the responsible Compliance organization. Is responsible for the Internal Compliance Risk Assessment (ICRA) process for evaluation of compliance risks. Ensures the Anti-Money Laundering Process (AML). Ensures the Business Partner Due Diligence process. Is responsible for the Corporate Whistleblowing System. Ensures independence and effective functionality of the Corporate Whistleblower System in accordance with the effective law. Also as Local Integrity Officer of SAVWIPL carries responsibility for the Integrity Management system. As a T4I SAVWIPL Responsible is responsible for implementation of all relevant measures and programs within the Together For Integrity (T4I) Program based on the Ethics & Compliance Initiative (ECI) principles. As the Risk Manager System/Internal Control System (RMS/ICS) officer (Local Risk Officer) of SAVWIPL is responsible for the Corporate Risk Management, Internal Control System and business Continuity Management at ŠKODA.

Skills Required:

Critical, Technical & Behavioral Skills (As required for the role) Know-how of risk evaluation, governance, system control mechanism & management reporting and compliance Organizations skills like staffing, delegation, etc. Legal skills High level of compliance acumen

Key Responsibilities &Tasks:

Implements and develops the local “GRC Program” (Compliance, Integrity and Risk management) at SAVWIPL as per Group Guidelines Establishes and self-responsible manages of an effective and efficient Compliance Management System of SAVWIPL, in alignment with local legal and ŠKODA AUTO requirements Manages ongoing monitoring, development and assessment and effective as well as efficient improvement of Compliance Management system and ethical standards/programs of SAVWIPL Ensures implementation of respective Compliance elements into respective business processes according to ECI standard. Implementation of the compliance management system and support with implementation of the respective principles/ policies in all relevant Human Resources (HR) processes, incl. staff appraisal, recruitment, and system of development and disciplinary measures Ensures the timely reporting of KPI on Governance, Risk and Compliance to Board of Management of SAVWIPL as well as Group GRC team / DCO ŠKODA AUTO Is responsible for implementation of the Compliance strategy, defined in accordance with the International Compliance standards, local legal requirements and SKODA-Group instructions. Is responsible for development of the responsible Compliance organization so as selection and career development of qualified employees on management level Governs the Internal Compliance Risk Assessment (ICRA) process for evaluation of compliance risks within SAVWIPL Manages the Anti-Money Laundering Process (AML) within SAVWIPL Controls Business Partner Due Diligence process with the aim to ensure compliance of the SAVWIPL business activities with the international and local legislation, improve sustainability of the cooperation with the business partners, avoid potential negative economic impact on SAVWIPL business and financial loss and to protect the SAVWIPL`s good reputation and the reputation of its representatives. Leads the Compliance and Integrity checks Manages the Whistleblower System at SAVWIPL. Ensures independence and effective functionality of the Whistleblower System in accordance with the effective law. Controls the Integrity Management system

at SAVWIPL incl. respective concepts and initiatives Manages the implementation of the SAVWIPL specific set of T4I deliverables/measures based on internal self-assessment according to the ECI standards Is responsible for establishing and communication of corporate values in all business areas of SAVWIPL Develops programs to ensure a positive development of corporate culture in accordance with the ethical and compliance standards of the ŠKODA AUTO Leads the Risk Management and Internal Control System within SAVWIPL and ensures regular monitoring and definition of the counter measures with the aim to mitigate relevant risks.

Qualification:

Law Graduate (LLB) Min. Additional CA/CS will be preferred

15 Years – 20 Years
