Position - Asst Manager - Sales Support
Department - Freight Forwarding

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary position

Objectives

Assisting sales team in onboarding customers & responsible for managing onboarded customer.

Key responsibilities

. Assisting sales team in getting customer on board
. Making quotations to customers from cargorunner system.
. Follow up with operation (India/Overseas) once the nomination is received from customer.
. Submit SOP and quote (with the help of sales/pricing) to operation and billing department for execution
. Update the customer with shipment status on timely manner.
. Preparation and submission of DSR as per customer requirement.
. Follow up for the invoices /documents to be send to customer.
. Escalate/ Resolve any issue related to shipment execution with pricing, sales, operation or finance team.
. Visiting customer along with the sales team for Monthly / Quarterly Reviews
. Circulating MOM of these meetings and ensuring that the action points are completed
. Joint Sales call with respective sales personal as and when required
. Cross selling and deep selling to existing corporate customers
. Payment follow ups with corporate customers

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

. Graduate with 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
. Sound knowledge of Ocean Freight industry.
. Good communication skills
. Advanced sales and customer service skills
. Process centric
. IT Skills
