Job Summary:
CricClubs is seeking a Junior DevOps and AWS Engineer with 1+ year of experience to join our innovative team. The successful candidate will contribute to the development, deployment, and maintenance of our cricket technology solutions. **Responsibilities:**
**Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):**
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline for efficient and automated software delivery.
-Support software builds and release efforts
- Create, set up, and maintain builds
**Infrastructure Management:**
- Provision the Cloud Infrastructure needed by the Development team to deploy new microservices and applications.
**Infrastructure as Code (IaC):**
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and manage infrastructure using tools such as AWS CloudFormation.
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of infrastructure components.
**Configuration Management:**
- automate provisioning and configuration processes. Develop scripts and programs to automate process and integrate tools.
**Monitoring and Logging:**
- Set up monitoring and logging solutions, utilizing tools such as AWS CloudWatch, to ensure system health and performance.
**Collaboration:**
- Work closely with development teams to streamline development and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify and implement improvements.
**Security:**
- Implement and maintain security best practices across infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
**AWS Services:**
- Utilize and manage AWS services such as EC2, VPC, ALB, S3, Aurora MySQL and IAM.
**Documentation:**
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in DevOps and AWS engineering roles.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services and infrastructure management.
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and experience using AWS CodePipeline.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools, preferably AWS CloudFormation.
- Familiarity in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
**Nice to Have:**
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.
- Previous experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
