Job Overview:
As a Freelance Community Manager specializing in the gaming industry you will be responsible for cultivating an enthusiastic and engaged gaming community around our brand. This position offers flexibility and remote work opportunities catering to individuals passionate about gaming and community building. Your role involves connecting with gamers facilitating discussions and implementing strategies to foster an active and positive gaming community.
Responsibilities:
Be the primary point of contact between the gaming community and the brand fostering a dynamic and welcoming atmosphere.
Facilitate discussions respond to inquiries and actively participate in gamingrelated conversations.
Develop and share gamingfocused content that resonates with the community including updates announcements and gamerelated discussions.
Encourage and showcase usergenerated gaming content such as fan art gameplay highlights and creative projects.
Monitor gaming community channels to ensure a positive and respectful environment.
Enforce community guidelines and address inappropriate behavior while maintaining a gamingcentric and friendly tone.
Plan and execute gaming events tournaments and livestreams to engage the community.
Collaborate with influencers or streamers to enhance community participation.
Gather feedback from the gaming community to provide valuable insights to game developers and decisionmakers.
Utilize surveys polls and focus groups to collect opinions on game features updates and overall satisfaction.
Identify and collaborate with gaming community advocates and influencers.
Create and manage programs to recognize and reward gaming community members for their contributions.
Implement strategies to attract new gamers and expand the gaming community.
Collaborate with marketing efforts to promote the gaming community and reach a broader audience.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to gaming community engagement.
Provide regular reports with insights into gaming trends community sentiment and feedback.
Qualifications:
36years of experience in community management within the gaming industry.
Bachelors degree in marketing or relevant field.
Passion for and deep understanding of the gaming culture trends and communities.
Familiarity with various gaming platforms genres and industry influencers.
Skills :
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a gamingcentric tone.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Proficiency in using gaming community management tools and social media platforms.
