• The Alteryx, Inc. UX team is growing and we are looking for a Product Designer to join our newly created team in India .
• You will be focusing on a variety of Data Science and Data Connectivity tools and products as we expand the functions and capabilities of the Alteryx Analytics Cloud platform.

• If you love solving complex problems for SaaS and Desktop products, collaborating with amazing product designers and getting exposure to advanced data analytics, this is a great fit for you.
• The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the software design lifecycle within a hybrid Agile environment. This should include proficiency in experience design, web-based user interactions, leveraging design systems, knowledge of user research and testing methodologies (we partner with our UX Research team to execute), and strong design thinking skills.
• We have a solid UX team with great organization support! Our UX umbrella covers design, research, development, visual design, content, localization, telemetry and accessibility.

Responsibilities:

• Clearly communicate and express designs using scenarios, user flows, sketches, storyboards, and presentations, encompassing lo - fi and hi-fi mockups, detailed interaction specs, prototypes, or animations.

• Drive the progression of your designs through every phase of the design process, recognizing crucial details at each stage: formative research, conceptual and interaction design, prototyping, usability studies, delivery, and post-delivery performance tracking.

• Collaborate closely with engineers to grasp technical considerations and meticulously implement designs.

• Coordinate with product managers to comprehend product specifications.

• Utilize telemetry data and research findings to integrate them into your designs.

• Conduct design reviews for new features and patterns at a more frequent cadence.

• Demonstrate proficiency in Figma, with an understanding of using Design Systems and prototypes.

• Collaborate with fellow UX designers, offering constructive feedback on their designs.

Requirements:

• You have 3 + years of experience as an individual contributor on a Product Design team.

• You have a solid portfolio, showcasing several examples of real work you ve shipped and what you learned along the way.

• You've designed and shipped B2B/enterprise products and you feel comfortable juggling technical constraints, complications and gnarly details.

• You have experience working and collaborating with diverse teams in a dynamic, rapid growth environment.

• You have experience partnering with Product Managers to develop the strategy and rationale for features as well as working with and motivating engineers to get the fit and finish right.

• You understand the importance of consistency in an enterprise environment, balanced with a drive for innovation and how to align the two.

• You have experience with prototyping as a means to explore and convey design solutions.

• You have solid written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

• You design with a strong sense of teamwork, passionate about working with other designers and across disciplines to drive change into products . Our team deeply values collaboration.
