We have Opening for  Associate Vice President - Software Testing @ Bangalore Location (Preferred from BFSI Industry Service and Product based)

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Quality Assurance team for mobile and desktop applications testing.
• Design, develop and optimize Rest APIs, Web UI, and Appium (Mobile) Automation frameworks using Java.
• Perform automated nightly test case runs and analyze results.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and establish comprehensive test strategies.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for testing, peer reviews, release cycle tasks, and bug triage processes.
• Create, review, and maintain automation test suites to enhance testing efficiency.
• Conduct various types of testing, including End-to-End (E2E) functional, regression, integration, performance, battery usage, data usage, stability, and launch performance testing.
• Actively participate in resolving production issues and proactively develop test solutions to prevent issues before impacting production.
• Drive weekly knowledge transfer and innovation sessions within the team to enhance  Order Product Sales (OPS)

Requirements:

• Proven expertise in leading the Quality Assurance team for apps testing on Mobile and  Desktop platforms.
• Proficiency in automating test cases and building automation frameworks using Java, Rest  APIs, Web UI, and Appium (Mobile)
• Experience in defining and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for testing processes.
• Strong understanding of different software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques
• Ability to conduct root cause analysis of software defects and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for automation and process enhancement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field
• Extensive experience in software testing and test automation
• Strong knowledge of Rest APIs, Web UI, and Appium (Mobile) Automation frameworks
• Certifications in relevant testing methodologies (ISTQB, CSTE, etc.) are desirable
