Job Description:
- The Solar Sales Engineer will be responsible for site survey and identifying, classifying, and
- contacting prospects.
- The Solar Sales Engineer will be responsible for following:
- Conduct a physical site survey using a variety of company provided tools and
- equipment
- Fill out site surveying sheets needed by the Engineering Department to produce
- permit-ready documents and reporting higher authorities for further actions
- Measure roof planes of residential and industrial design, carrying out shadow
- analysis and calculating possible installation capacity taking into consideration
- various aspects
- Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and manage opportunities in business processes and
- contribute to the organization's short and long-term business goals
- Establish long-term professional relationships with potential stakeholders and
- partners to promote the new processes and services
- Lead meetings and negotiations with stakeholders and business partners to pursue
- business opportunities and protect the organization's business interests
- Creating marketing mix and finding key channels for new market activations
- Driving marketing campaigns using the optimal mix of digital and offline mediums.
- Meet and exceed sales targets Over time and with practice, the Solar Sales Engineer
- will be able to conduct these dialogues and convince the prospect to do business.
- The Solar Sales Engineer is the first contact between the prospective customer and
- Organization.
Major Responsibilities/Activities:
- Submitting the sketches and photographs taken during site survey and reporting it to
- higher authorities and handling inspections and permit as and when required.
- Identifies, qualifies, and cultivates new sales opportunities through multiple mediums
- (email, phone, trade shows, inbound website leads, and more).
- Maintains a high level of attention to detail in managing all respective sales activities
- (notes, follow-ups, emails, call logs).
- Responds to inquiries via SMS, email, and incoming and outbound calls.
- Responsible for achieving aggressive weekly targets such as number of qualified
- opportunities per campaign, number of daily activities/tasks, call quality, appointment
- setting, and sales skills.
- Learn and conduct first-step meetings with clients in person and converting leads into
- business proactively.
