Job description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. To develop the Electric Vehicle Plant Model including Powertrain for System HIL testing
2. To perform complete Interface modeling to develop a closed loop system with all Vehicle ECUs
3. To understand the Vehicle & System requirements and develop physical behavior models
4. To execute Software Validation activity in Qualifying Battery Management System (BMS Software) – by system level and Vehicle level validation.
5. To evaluate & verify BMS Software Logics and Functions as per Customer usage and RWUP conditions.
6. To report all critical and non-critical issues to the respective module leads and the Project CFT. Participation in issue investigation and root cause analysis using QC tools like 8D, FTA, Why-Why Analysis

B.E / B. Tech- Electrical / Electrical & Electronics engineering; Mechatronics Engg / Mechanical

General Requirements

1. Good knowledge on Battery Management System testing & charging profiles. Knowledge on Matlab and Simulink.

2. Understanding of Product development process.

3. Knowledge on CAN, Vector Tools (CANALYZER, CANOE etc.,), PCAN, ETAS tools, Ipetronics, IMC instruments. Knowledge of diagnostics Protocols

4. Thorough knowledge in Automotive Standards, IS, AIS, ECE, ISO, IEC

5. Knowledge in testing and component validation process, 

6. Knowledge in quality tools and EV component level understanding.

7. Should be able to interpret and understand the DFMEA, Architecture and Functional logics.

8. Should be able to simulate the functions / logics on system / vehicle and validate the system DVP

9. Experience in developing the Electric Vehicle Plant Model including Powertrain

10. Hands on Experience in working with Matlab & Simulink
