Job Description - Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field, with additional training or certification in regulatory compliance preferred.
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer in the data engineering, technology, or related sector, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to translate technical information into user-friendly content.
- Deep understanding of data engineering concepts, tools, and technologies, coupled with knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements relevant to the industry.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a demonstrated ability to create clear and engaging content for a variety of audiences.
- Proficiency in documentation tools and technologies, including:
- Microsoft Word: Advanced skills in creating, formatting, and managing complex documents.
- PDF Management: Expertise in creating, editing, and securing PDF documents, including the use of Adobe Acrobat and other PDF editors.
- Content Management Systems (CMS): Experience with CMS platforms for managing and publishing digital content.
- Documentation Software: Familiarity with technical documentation software such as MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, or similar, for creating structured and reusable content.
- Version Control Systems: Knowledge of version control systems like Git to manage document versions and collaborate with team members.
- Multimedia and Graphic Design Tools: Ability to incorporate multimedia elements into documentation, using tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign for graphic creation and editing.
- Strong customer focus and business acumen, with the ability to understand how product features and documentation impact user experience and business goals.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the capacity to work effectively across teams and integrate technical, compliance, and business perspectives into documentation.
- Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines, maintaining high quality and accuracy in all work.
