Job description

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Management: ·

Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement. ·

Create compelling content for various social media platforms. ·

Monitor social media trends and analytics to optimize performance. ·

Collaborate with editors and writers to align content with social media requirements.

Content Marketing: ·

Collaborate with editorial teams to create and promote content that aligns with marketing objectives. ·

Implement content distribution strategies to maximize reach and impact.

SEO Optimization: ·

Assist the SEO and editorial team to produce SEO-compliant content and develop engaging content strategies. ·

Live optimization of content to ensure traction on all Google channels (Organic, News, App, AMP, Discover). ·

Develop keyword plans through regular keyword research to generate content ideas and increase organic traffic. ·

Execute SEO best practice checklists and work on site structure, on-page improvements, and content optimization. ·

Collaborate with the SEO, product, and tech teams to accomplish SEO requirements. ·

Implement a link-building strategy and conduct competitor analysis.

Google News Portal Management: ·

Ensure that our news content meets Google News guidelines and standards. ·

Optimize headlines, meta tags, and other elements for maximum visibility on Google News. ·

Work closely with editorial teams to ensure timely and accurate indexing of news articles. ·

Monitor and analyze the performance of news articles on Google News.

News Sitemaps : ·

Generate and submit news sitemaps regularly to Google News. ·

Stay updated on changes to Google News algorithms and adapt strategies accordingly.

Analytics and Reporting: ·

Provide regular reports on digital marketing, Google News

and SEO performance. ·

Utilize data insights to inform future marketing and SEO strategies. Requirements: ·

2+ years of experience in Digital Marketing & SEO in publishing Environment ·

Proven track record of success in both content and technical SEO. ·

Experience with optimizing content for media sites ·

Knowledge of optimization for channels like Google News, AMP, and Discover. ·

Experience using SEO/analytics tools like Google Search Console, Ahrefs (Any DM tools) and Google Analytics. ·

Analytical skills and the ability to craft actionable insights from complex data. ·

Detail-oriented, well-organized and good time management. ·

Good communication skills in English.
