Job Overview
Avanta Healthcare Pvt Ltd is looking for an experienced and compassionate ICU Nurse / Registered Nurse to join our team. As an ICU Nurse / Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing critical care to patients in the ICU. This is a full-time position based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
Qualifications and Skills
- Registered Nurse license in the state of Karnataka, India
- Junior: 1 to 3 years of experience in an ICU or critical care setting
- Strong clinical skills and ability to effectively assess and respond to patient needs
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
- Empathy, patience, and ability to provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Adaptability and flexibility to adjust to changing patient needs and department requirements
- Knowledge of electronic medical record systems and medical software
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles
- Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition, vital signs, and other pertinent information
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care
- Educate and support patients and their families on disease management, healthy lifestyle choices, and treatment options
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Adhere to professional standards, company policies, and ethical principles
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training
- Demonstrate empathy, patience, and excellent communication skills in all interactions
