Job description
We are looking for a candidate with 5+years of
relevant experience in UX (User Experience-product design) and in any 2 or more areas: Interaction design, Visual design, Motion design, Graphic design. Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities Investigate user experience design requirements and gathering information from product teams, stakeholders, SMEs and end users and convert them into comprehensive UX design solutions for cross platforms (mobile, tablet and desktops) applications Represent the voice of the user with objectivity. Collect, Analyze and Document user requirements, needs, challenges through primary and secondary methods. Drive design thinking workshops, create journey maps, process flows and wireframes for design solutions that are intuitive and easy to use Manage UI/UX development team (internal/external outsourced) to deliver designs Must be able to create user stories Should have experience in designing webapps and mobile apps Proven experience in designing UI/UX across a mix of Touchpoints, Channels, Devices including mobility apps, interaction design across eCommerce, Web Portals/Websites, enterprise, and SaaS products Use visual aids such as wireframes, storyboards and UI flow charts, to plan and present user interface designs Use responsive web design to create applications that automatically conform to multiple screen sizes/devices Conduct usability testing to identify and fix UI issues, and gather real-world intelligence from target users User research, innovation, remote usability tests, analytics and metrics, heuristic evaluations, prototyping Participating in design sprints, iterating on designs based on feedback and delivering complete and high- quality work on time. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure smooth hand-off of designs ensuring experience gets translated well into development Vertical & industry experience in BFSI/Fintech /Banking(Supply Chain would be great*) Experience with user research and incorporating quantitative customer data into UX deliverables Have a strong portfolio of UX design work which demonstrates design-thinking, creative problem solving and a user centered design process Bachelor’s or master’s degree in design or related field will be a plus. Tech / Tool Skills Should have hands on experience in design collaboration tools like Mural & Experience Design tools including wireframe and prototyping tools like Axure, Adobe XD, MS Visio, Justinmind, Adobe create suites e.g.: Photoshop, illustrator, Flash and Flex to mockup UI Elements Designing for cross platform devices (Android, iOS, Windows, mobile, desktop) to deliver consistent experiences across touchpoints Solid understanding of grid systems, typography, web, and mobile interface trends Understanding of different front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript libraries and response design frameworks like bootstrap Experience with design and prototyping tools like Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Invision Required Behavioral Competencies Networking and Influencing skills Written and Verbal Communication Skills Interpersonal Skills Time Management Analytical bent of mind, Organized and ability to handle stressful situations with ease Proactively identifying and seizing the opportunity to propose improvements to existing product design, design tools and the design process Enable team growth through the identification of right talent. Ability to justify every design decision, debate one’s views, challenge those of others while remaining open to other perspective and willing to accommodate when its needed Excellent teamwork to effectively collaborate with multi-functional and multi-disciplined teams.Job tags
