Alongside, Business Intelligence teams are also looking at how democratizing the access of strategic data, providing self-service solutions to increase literacy and adoption. In a never-ending search for innovative solutions, we leverage artificial intelligence and predictive analytics to analyze trading signals and drive new trading and research insights.
LDC has set ambitious goals for a deforestation-free supply chain by 2025 and 33.6% reduction in carbon emissions for scope 1&2, which is aligned with the 1.5 °C target for global warming. Your main mission within the Sustainability team will focus on our deforestation free commitment, by making the best use of land use change algorithms and data available within the commercial and execution process.

Main Responsibilities
- Conduct research on Land Use Change-related topics, including identifying trends, analyzing data, and identifying potential risks and opportunities
- Analyze data to identify patterns, trends, and insights related to land use change and related issues
- Management of your solutions' scope, processes, stakeholders and adoption
- Learn and understand sustainability solutions portfolio and business needs to drive convergence towards the deforestation free target and global sustainability strategy and goals
- Ensure agile product road maps, roll outs, continuous improvement plan and deployments are in sync with the business needs and with the global sustainability strategy and goals
- Own the delivery of parts of the projects or programs in your scope and its associated metrics on time and on budget
- Follow up issues and risks, propose mitigation plan where possible and trigger appropriate escalations in case of need
- Work closely with the super-users of your application/solution being intermediary between them and our external delivery partners to develop or support your applications, drive adoption and remove roadblocks for effective delivery of business value
- Support business partners in the creation of the test cases and in their day-by-day application usage. Organize the training of key and end users as required
- Ensure your solutions' scope evolves including requests' backlog management and prioritization as per alignment with business partners
- Highlight to solution manager implementation constraints you may spot as well as dependencies with other solutions
Experience Experience
- 3-5 years of proven experience as business analyst type of role in digital projects' implementation
- Project management experience in small to medium size projects being able to report status and potential risks
- Previous functional experience in Land use change monitoring projects
- Previous functional experience in Agri business, commodities trading, supply chain logistics or sustainability topics is a plus
- Former experiences in digital solutions implementation in sustainability area is a strong plus
- Have worked in past in a multi-cultural environment
- Previous experience in a client facing role will be considered a plus
Other Skills (Computer Skills, Etc)
- Basic skills in Python
- Database competencies (Oracle and/or MS SQL Server), being able to navigate through data via SQL statements
- Overall understanding and knowledge of global enterprise data management systems
- Middleware and Business Intelligence technologies knowledge are a plus i.e. Talend, ESB, Microsoft Azure Platform, Microsoft Power BI
Languages:
- Fluent in English, oral and written is a must.
Academics
- Higher Education in IT, Engineering, Math, Physics (others only if with previous proven IT experience)
