Position: Senior PHP Engineer (Laravel and CodeIgniter) Location: Saket, New Delhi Experience: 6+ Years Job Summary: We are seeking a seasoned PHP Engineer with over 6 years of experience to join Khelo Tech and Strategy. As a Senior PHP Engineer, you will be a vital contributor to the development and maintenance of our sports tech applications. Your expertise in Laravel and CodeIgniter frameworks, coupled with advanced API architecture knowledge, will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of sports technology. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to understand requirements and implement scalable solutions using Laravel and CodeIgniter. Led the development of advanced API architectures, ensuring optimal performance and seamless integration with sports tech applications. Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable PHP applications, adhering to coding standards and best practices. Optimize application performance for large-scale deployments, addressing any bottlenecks and ensuring reliability. Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in PHP development, sports tech, and API architecture. Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment. Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality, scalability, and adherence to coding standards. Troubleshoot and debug issues, implementing effective solutions to address challenges. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in PHP development, with expertise in Laravel and CodeIgniter frameworks. Proven track record in designing and implementing advanced API architectures for large-scale software solutions. In-depth understanding of database technologies, especially MySQL. Strong knowledge of software design patterns, SOLID principles, and best practices. Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for effective collaboration with UI/UX teams. Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and continuous integration/deployment pipelines. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective communication and collaboration skills.
