Job Description We are looking for a motivated and experienced CAE Engineer to support us in the execution of CAE tasks from all KION R&D locations. As a local team leader for CAE you will be responsible for the on time and on budget execution of CAE tasks (meshing, modeling, simulation jobs…) acc. to the defined quality standards and with the defined tools. You will support our team of calculation & simulation engineers by doing simulation tasks for the different truck families and components. You will coordinate the tasks with the different internal customers (Calculation & Simulation teams in EMEA) and align on priorities and due dates. Continuous reporting is an important part of your responsibility. You will have to establish a global network with the different internal customers. You will ensure a good and balanced workload within your team Qualifications Aufgaben und Qualifikationen: You have a university master's degree with a technical focus, preferably mechanical engineering or similar. An industrial working experience of 6-10 years in off-road vehicles projects You bring competence and preferably experience in simulation topics, incl. structural analysis tasks (static, dynamic, durability and fatigue), CFD and 1D-Simulation You are familiar with simulation tools, i. e. NX Nastran Solver, ANSA, Simcenter (1D /3D). Additional tools are an additional advantage. You have experience with MS Windows and MS Office package You bring strong communication skills to build a network and maintain strong relationship with stakeholders Willingness to travel once per year to Europe to strengthen collaboration and increase knowledge Very good English skills complete your profile. Spoken proficiency in German is a plus.Job tags
