At Alshaya Group We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Architect to join our dynamic team. The Data Architect will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing data solutions that align with our business goals and support our analytical needs. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility across our organization. Key Skills and Experience: Design and develop scalable and efficient data architecture solutions that accommodate current and future business requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into comprehensive data architecture designs. Create data models, data flow diagrams, and architectural documentation that provide insights into data relationships, structures, and processing. Oversee the implementation of data storage solutions, including databases, data warehouses, data lakes and ML Models Establish data governance standards and best practices to ensure data quality, security, and compliance. Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize data pipelines and integration processes for efficient data flow. Work closely with Data Engineers to define data transformation and enrichment processes. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to data architecture, recommending adoption when appropriate. Knowledge (Desired): Certification in relevant data architecture or database technologies. Experience in cloud-based data solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP). Knowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, etc.). Familiarity with data streaming and real-time processing frameworks. Skills: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Proven experience in designing and implementing data architecture solutions. Experience in data modeling tools such as Erwin, ERStudio or Lucid chart etc. Maintain a repository of all data architectures procedures and artifacts Strong proficiency in data modeling, database design, and data warehousing concepts. Proficiency in working with relational databases, NoSQL databases, and data integration tools. working experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Familiarity with data security, privacy, and compliance standards. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data requirements. Integrate new systems and functions like security, performance, scalability, reliability and data recovery Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate architectural concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
