Do you have a Masters degree with skills in materials science and characterisation techniques (for the experimental projects), or physical, mathematical or programming skills for numerical simulations of plasma shock wave physics, heat transportation properties, atomistic simulations, thin films and deposition, or machine learning We want backgrounds like academically strong candidates having masters degree in Physics/ Materials Science/ Applied Physics are welcome to join in my team towards their PhD degree with full stipend* to be registered at Anna University. Available for only two candidates subject to written exam and interview clearances conducted by the University. The research work involved in collaboration with the industrial partner Bright-Beams Laser Technology, UK, Department of Manufacturing IIT Madras, IGCAR Kalpakkam, INDUS-I Synchrotron National Facility, Indore MP, OIM and Texture Lab, IITB and from other top universities in the EU and UK. This position is required travel to attend various conferences and to visit collaborators' laboratories. Upon successful completion, the scholars will have an opportunity to continue working for their postdoctoral (PDF) research at one of the collaborators lab.
