You will join our
Plastic Omnium India Technical Centre, Pune/Bengaluru. Located in Viman Nagar/ITPL Whitefield , ITC is part of Plastic Omnium's Intelligent Exterior Systems division from where we cater engineering and technical services to customers globally. Currently employing 100+ talented professionals, we have strong plans to grow several folds in next 3-5 years.
Your Main Tasks Will Be In - Designing technical solutions (sketches, sections, 3D models, dimensions, kinematics)
- Generating CAD files in specific methodology
- Working closely with project teams and multiple experts (tooling, CAE, geometry, assembly etc…)
- Ensuring CAD quality and coordinating CAD data flow
- Updating models based on technical feasibility studies and design reviews
- Performing various checks on 3D models to ensure quality of final product
- Mentoring new CAD Engineers
- Managing a TDM structure and EDI together with DL
- Organizing weekly project meetings with EPM, DL and CAD GL
- Reporting to CAD GL on weekly basis

- A Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Automobile, Production streams or equivalent
- Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience Sound proficiency in Catia V5
- Thorough understanding of injection moulded automotive trim design
- flexibility to work in shifts
