Job description
Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities:
- Target Setting & Planning
- Work with the team & RM to understand the revenue target for the region
- Ensure revenue targets as per plan (Monthly/Quarterly)
- Develop a detailed plan to identify the potential sources of revenue
- Revenue Management
- Establishing new, and maintaining existing relationships with customer
- Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet customer needs to key customers, OEMs, PB, Consultants etc.
- Negotiating and closing sales by agreeing terms and conditions
- Offering after-sales support services with support
- Develop existing high-potential customer
- Work with the BD/MKTG team to understand potential market segments company can go after
- Understand customer needs and requirements and share them with the Design Team to enable them to create solution
- Ensure than customer needs are implemented by the design team
- Customer Relationship Management
- Work with Dealers & Dealer management team (DRM) for ensuring revenue committed
- Ensure orders are taken well in advance to enable efficient planning and timely delivery
- Responsible for sharing Dealer network management plan and closure via DRM team
- Competitive Intelligence
- Keep-up with industry and market trends and best practices.
- Collect feedback from the market and share with the design team.
- Marketing
- Responsible for new product promotion and launch to customers in the assigned locations to increase awareness about the brand and products.
- Responsible for taking charge of the regional MKTG plan and execution with the help of MKTG & regional sales team
- Collections
- Responsible for collection of payments, from customers who are buying directly from the company for the region assigned, with adherence to credit and payment norms.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance on Dealer Policies, with the help of DRM team
- Monitoring Performance & Reporting Business Metrics
- Participate in regional reviews with the team to ensure that sales targets are met.
- Analyze captured data and create dashboards /MIS to report performance on a regular basis to the Regional Manager.
- Ensure corrective actions are taken on risks and deviations identified during all the reviews.
