PURPOSE

Defining and maintaining company’s Global Quality Policies and Procedures ensuring compliance to new and existing regulatory standards for automotive quality requirements.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Defining and maintaining company’s Global Quality Policies and Procedures to ensure compliance to new and existing regulatory standards. Providing input to strategic decisions that affect quality globally and monitor their effectiveness in time. Implementing, managing, and improving the administration and continual improvement of the company’s quality management systems through lessons learned, standardization, and implementation of quality concepts Managing and maintaining company’s Global Quality Operating System. Manage corporate scheme of IATF certification, analyzing trends in non-conformances and defining corrective measures. Leading and coordinating Product and Process Integrity Audits Program globally Tracking and maintaining key quality metrics including customer complaints, part per millions (PPM), and scrap Providing quality core tools training including Problem Solving, Statistical Process Control, and Quality Basics. Drive Global Quality Management and promote Quality Awareness Develop and drive product reliability programs Develop supplier quality programs Head of Global compliance Build and Scale a Global Quality Team Drive Advanced product quality planning (APQP) requirements for product development and project management Evaluate customer requirements as part of RFI/RFQ processes Work with external Fab and OSAT partners to implement continuous improvements programs and zero-defect methodologies Implement reliability and quality standards inspired by IATF 16949, ISO9001, and ISO26262 and other applicable automotive quality standards Perform internal audits against quality standards and coordinate external audits Implement Quality management systems (QMS) corporate wide in close collaboration with all heads Get external audits and certifications done, as required Travel up to 25% nationally and internationally

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION

Qualification: M.E./B.E./B.Tech in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, material science or a related technical field strongly preferred Experience: 8+ Years experience of demonstrated management of a Global Quality Team required Experience in technical field focused on quality required, ideally with automotive background

TECHNICAL AND BEHAVIOURAL SKILLS

Technical skills: Experience working within the automotive industry and experience with automotive standards Demonstrated track record of success in the leadership and management of product quality/reliability teams. Prior experience with DFMEA, PPAP document qualification process, root cause investigation, corrective action, and APQP Demonstrated experience in volume manufacturing of hardware and software product working with customers, contract manufacturers and suppliers Semiconductor manufacturing background Knowledge of board level qualification per ISO26262 and IATF 16949 preferred

QUALIFIERS FOR THE ROLE

Progressive experience working in the Automotive Quality Industry in the position of Senior Quality Manager, Quality Manager, Corporate Manufacturing Quality Manager or other Quality Manager or Engineering positions : - Implementing, managing, and improving quality management systems. - Leading and coordinating product and process audits. - Tracking and maintaining key quality metrics. - Managing corporate scheme of IATF certification. - Experience may be obtained concurrently.
