Are you passionate about cloud technologies and eager to contribute to the development of cutting-edge engineering software We have an exciting opportunity for a talented individual with strong technical background to build and lead our new Cloud Services Pune team in NX Platform.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in recruiting and hiring team members with the right skills and expertise to build up a -new cloud services team in Pune working on cloud development and operations.
• Manage the software engineers and developers in the team and guide them through the entire software development lifecycle following Scaled Agile methodology.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define cloud infrastructure needs, and contribute to the overall technical strategy.
• Ability to leverage your experience in designing, implementing and delivering non-cloud solutions to contribute to the overall NX X ecosystem.
• Mentor and provide guidance to all team members, fostering their growth and development
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging cloud technologies, sharing knowledge and insights with the team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years total working experience of software development or management
• Minimum 2+ years' management experience of leading multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Programming experience in any one or two of JavaScript/Go/Java/C# or C++ languages. Experience using TypeScript and NodeJS is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams across subject areas, roles, and geographical and time zone boundaries
• Proven ability to mentor and guide team members, fostering their growth and development.

Desired Requirements

• Have a good understanding of modern, cloud centric architectures and DevOps principles
• Experience with cloud service development, deployments and operations, scalability and reliability and resources optimization.
• Familiar with one or more products in the Siemens Digital Industry Software portfolio, such as NX, Teamcenter, Simcenter, Opcenter, Mendix, Siemens Xccelerator.
• Familiar with mainstream IaaS provider services from AWS, Azure and/or AliCloud.
• Familiar with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
• Familiarity with security best practices and implementing security controls in a cloud environment
