The Team: This global function is within the Procurement Operations team under the Global Business Services domain, with expectations to closely coordinate with relevant teams in Category Management Sourcing Support.
The Impact: The Contract Management Lead will primarily manage and support contracting activities across all geographical regions.

Responsibilities:
- End-to-end contract management including contract authoring, red-lining, negotiations and approvals
- Drive contractual standards and serve as a single point of contact to the business and intermediary with the vendor on client engagement on contract terms
- Ensure success against all contractual commitments at a category level (strategic and tactical).
- Liaise with the Category Management, Internal legal dept. and Vendors to get the contracts published once the Supplier is identified for award of business
- Resolve any existing contract conflicts
- Serve as a liaison between internal and external parties during contract development and negotiation stages
- Provide SME/ in-depth knowledge of a contracting strategy within a large corporation and be able to drive and identify additional opportunities with client
- Ensure SLAs around the contracting process like Turnaround time for contract, contract accuracy, etc
- Maintain contract templates and manage the contract approval flow of executed sourcing activities.
- Review contracts to ensure SOW clause comparisons, contract prioritization, and playbook are followed
- Submit Contract Request Workspaces (CRW s) to initiate contract authoring process
What we're Looking For:
- Total Experience of 8 years, with at least 5 years experience in Contracting
- Amenable to work to manage operations in the US hours (night shift).
- Possesses basic exposure to Procurement or has a background in end-to-end Procurement processes
- Basic understanding of indirect spend categories like MRO, IT Telecom, Facilities, Purchased Services their Buying Patterns
- Experience authoring, writing and redlining contracts directly with Vendors or other 3rd parties
- Knowledge in ARIBA Contract Management tool is an advantage
Basic Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Degree in Juris Doctor or Law is required
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications like Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Advanced proficiency in contracts drafting and legal review
- Strong customer centric focus and able to interact with VP level stakeholders and legal teams
- Proficiency in analytical presentation Skills
- Advanced proficiency in contract negotiation skills
- Proactive persuasive relationship with client stakeholders
- Basic exposure to document management and contracting applications
- Amenable to work in US Hours schedule.
