Job description
This individual will recognize and look for ways to innovate and improve processes around Sales territory management through interactions with Sales and finance leaders. Using your strong communication skills, you will effectively collaborate with a variety of cross functional partners to achieve the overall objective of supporting the Sales Territory model management. You will need to perform flawlessly and professionally in a challenging and extremely fast-paced environment, while also having the grace and willingness to change direction when circumstances demand. You will have a level of integrity and drive to get things done.
Responsibilities:
- Analysis of Sales Achievement data on a regular basis with respect to correctness of territory assignments, credit rules for sales rep etc.
- Regular interactions with Sales Managers and Directors to work upon territory creation requests, addressing change requests for territories and handling territorial changes warranted by market scenario (mergers, divestments, rebranding etc.) effecting present alignment.
- Monitoring of account and contact management in Salesforce, customer and sales hierarchy, partner (Channel sales) data analysis, understanding of Opportunity and Lead etc. for review of Salesforce data.
- Helping with onboarding of sales teams, setting up new hire, terminations etc. , credit roll-up structure creation in Anaplan module to enable compensation and incentive management.
- Working along with Marketing and Sales Support teams to address corrections in Salesforce data.
- Reports in Salesforce – designing and developing reports to initiate data-driven decisions and recommendations for improving the sales funnel and process.
- Clear and effective communication with Sales teams of different geographical locations which may pose linguistic constraints (Specially AMER countries).
- Handling and closure of CRM tickets on a regular basis relating to account assignments, access issues etc.
- Customer hierarchy analysis to ensure right parent-child structure.
- Tools preferably should be known are Salesforces, Anaplan, SAP and proficient in Excel.
- Basic knowledge about Sales orders, Quote approvals, pipeline management will be of additional advantage.
Qualifications:
- 5 – 7 years of experience in profiles supporting Sales operations (Territory management, Customer Master management, Sales Hierarchy structure, Sales support etc).
- Good knowledge of ‘Sales Operating Model
- Expertise in MS Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Competent to manipulate and analyze large amounts of data and drawing key insights.
- Ability to excel with limited direction/supervision and under ambiguous circumstances.
- Impressive communication and Collaboration skills
- Education: Graduate from any field - MBA preferred.
