Job Title : QA Automation EngineerLocation : Bellandur, BangaloreWork Schedule : Hybrid (Thursdays in-office)Years of Experience : 3-8 yearJob Description :We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bellandur, Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software quality assurance, with a focus on test automation. As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and identify test automation opportunities.- Implement automated testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or similar to streamline the testing process.- Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios to validate software functionality, performance, and scalability.- Perform regression testing to ensure that new features and enhancements do not adversely impact existing functionality.- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.- Participate in Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.- Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in software testing and test automation, and incorporate them into our processes.- Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management to provide updates on testing progress and issues.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- Proven experience in software quality assurance with a focus on test automation.- Strong proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, test case design techniques, and debugging practices.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and concisely.- Experience with Agile development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.- Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, Agile, or similar are desirable but not required.
