One of our prestigious clients in the Maritime Industry is looking to hire a General Manager Talent Acquisition to be based in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Job Summary:
As the General Manager Talent Acquisition you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive talent acquisition strategies to attract assess and hire qualified candidates for various positions within the organization. You will lead a team of recruiters and collaborate closely with department heads to understand their hiring needs and priorities. This role requires a strategic mindset exceptional leadership abilities and a deep understanding of talent acquisition best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies aligned with the companys goals and objectives.
- Lead and manage the recruitment team providing guidance coaching and support to ensure high performance and productivity.
- Partner with senior management and department heads to understand current and future hiring needs and develop proactive recruitment plans accordingly.
- Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle including job posting sourcing screening interviewing and offer negotiation.
- Utilize various recruitment channels and techniques to attract top talent including job boards social media networking referrals and industry events.
- Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies universities and other talent sources to expand the candidate pipeline.
- Develop and implement employer branding initiatives to enhance the companys reputation as an employer of choice.
- Monitor recruitment metrics and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and optimize recruitment processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition and incorporate them into the companys recruitment strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations throughout the recruitment process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
- Proven experience 15 years in talent acquisition or recruitment leadership roles preferably within oil and gas or heavy industries sector.
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes techniques and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective recruitment strategies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Resultsoriented mindset with a focus on driving continuous improvement and achieving recruitment targets.
- Familiarity with recruitment technology and tools including applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment marketing platforms.
- Knowledge of Saudi labor laws and regulations is preferred.
- Preference will be given to Saudi nationals for this role in compliance with local regulations.
