Job description
Role : Testing Lead - FinTech Responsibilities :- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure the quality of software products/services.- Lead a team of testers and coordinate testing activities throughout the software development lifecycle.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements and prioritize testing efforts.- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to streamline testing processes.- Perform database testing to validate data integrity, accuracy, and performance.- Conduct manual testing as needed to supplement automated testing efforts.- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues in a timely manner.- Track and report on testing progress, including test coverage, defects found, and overall quality metrics.- Mentor junior testers and provide guidance on testing best practices and methodologies.Requirements :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.- 8-12 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on database testing, manual testing, and automation testing.- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.- Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).- Experience with test automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.- Proven leadership skills and the ability to lead and mentor a team of testers.Benefits :- Competitive salary and benefits package.- Opportunities for career growth and advancement.- Collaborative and dynamic work environment.- Access to cutting-edge technologies and tools.
