Key Responsibilities:
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate and uptodate records of shipments including delivery information and related documentation.
Coordination:
Coordinate with vendors suppliers and customers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of shipments.
Establish and maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders to facilitate smooth logistics operations.
Performance Monitoring:
Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics.
Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance overall efficiency.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure coordinated efforts for timely and accurate delivery.
Work closely with crossfunctional teams to streamline logistics processes.
Client Management:
Deal with and resolve issues raised by significant clients.
Establish direct communication channels between internal teams and significant clients to address specific needs and concerns.
Customer Service:
Take responsibility for resolving customer service issues and complaints related to logistics operations.
Implement corrective actions to enhance customer satisfaction.
Reporting:
Generate detailed reports on logistics performance highlighting key metrics and trends.
Present reports to senior management providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
