Job description

Acuity is currently looking for dedicated and motivated individuals who have strong leadership, organizational, and teamwork skills for our investment banking team.

Substantive Responsibilities:

Mentor teams and build processes to handle contract lifecycle management including projects related to drafting and negotiation for NDA’s, Software Agreements, Procurement Agreements, MOU’s, Limited Partnership Agreements, Side Letter, Subscription Agreements, SOWs, Offering Memorandum, Prospectus, Share Stock Agreements, etc. Implement ongoing contract maintenance and repository management and handle automation projects including interacting with software vendors for collaboration and procurement. Build playbooks and negotiating guidelines and actively involve in negotiation of agreements. Head projects relating to contract review, analysis and abstraction identifying material rights and obligation. Spearhead projects relating to review, drafting and negotiation of OTC and cross border agreements like ISDAs, CSAs, PBAs and other contract remediation exercises pertaining to specific regulations like GDPR and LIBOR. Perform document review in e-discovery or litigation support projects including relevancy analysis, privilege analysis, redactions, depositions e.t.c. Active involvement and knowledge of legal research tools and methodology to perform the research accordingly. Prepare and maintain MIS and maintain other internal tracking processes. Handling client negotiations and any related projects to ensure timely execution and completion.

- Supervising and managing a team of resources, including their performance, productivity, and adherence to business procedures. Performance Monitoring -

Maintain and evaluate individual and team performance metrics such as quality scores, average handle time, customer satisfaction ratings and sales targets. Coaching and Training

- Team Members need constant coaching, monitoring and training to enhance their skill set, product knowledge and customer service capabilities. Work Allocation

-Assigning tasks, projects and client assignments based on each team member’s skill set and workload capabilities. Quality Assurance -

Maintaining quality standards as per project requirements and conducting frequent quality checks to identify improvement areas and provide feedback to the resources. Stakeholder Management

– Ability to effectively handle client calls, solution oriented and come up with the ideas to accelerate the growth of Paralegal services. Proficiency in MIS and PowerPoint

– Good Knowledge of Powerpoint and Excel and ability to drive formulae and deck at quick go.

Required Education LLB degree in law required. Any other certifications in finance especially Company Secretary are an added advantage.

Experience Work experience of 8 to 12 years in Investment Banks, the financial services industry, legal processing outsourcing.
