Job Description
As a Senior Precision Manufacturing Engineer at Floaid Medtech, you won't just be shaping components; you'll be shaping the future. Your role is pivotal in orchestrating the creation of masterpieces that embody the epitome of precision engineering. The sub components will be complex, need biocompatible materials/coatings, feature size ranging from 0.5-1mm. You will be integrating various sub systems to achieve the main system, so the expectation is to have experience in fits and joints at micron to millimetre level.

Key Responsibilities:
- Micro Machining: Experienced in micro machining tools like 5D/7D CNC, micro EDM, micro LBM, Micro EBM, 3D printing, handling, mounting, metrology and quality control.
- Get the work done: Whether you use a micro milling, or a 3D printer or an injection moulding or a lithography, it will be your responsibility to get the part fabricated either in-house or with outsourcing, along with technology transfer if outsourced.
- Prototyping: You will be receiving designs from Design department and will be solely responsible to get them fabricated up to the industrial standards.
- Vendor Site Visit: We do expect you to travel ti the vendor site to build the relations and the product across India and even abroad if needed..
- Technology transfer: We expect you to train the in-house employees the technologies and methodologies used to fabricate the product.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all manufacturing processes adhere to relevant regulatory standards and guidelines in the medical device industry.
- Quality Control: Conduct meticulous inspections and measurements, orchestrating a quality symphony that resonates with the precision our clients expect.
- Harmonious Collaboration: Collaborate with the state of the art industry to find innovative ways to get the work done.
- Troubleshooting Overture: Conduct troubleshoot overtures to identify and resolve any discord in machining processes, tooling, or equipment.
- Documentation Symphony: Document your precision journey, creating a symphony of records that ensure traceability and compliance with the highest quality standards.
- IP Filings: The responsibility is to file IP with all the major developments.
- Vendor NDA and negotiation: You will be representing the manufacturing unit of our company, We expect to have all legal perspective taken into care before sharing any of our IP or the vendor IP. We do expect to have good negotiation skills with the vendors.
Qualifications:
- Education: MS/PhD in manufacturing engineering. Strong knowledge of precision engineering principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes. Education is important, but we count on experience. Certifications/Portfolio showcasing your mastery in precision manufacturing irrespective of your college degree is welcomed.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in precision manufacturing with feature size of 0.5 - 1mm. If you are a college grad and can showcase your portfolio with similar level of expertise, we can waive off the experience requirement.
