POSITION TITLE:
Sr. Engineer-Projects / AM – Project
Salary : Open
Experience : 4+ years in sales of industrial products & Project executions
Qualification : B.E / B.Tech Mechanical or instrumentation
LOCATION: Bangalore
REPORTING: AGM - Projects

POSITION SUMMARY:
The role of the Sr. Engineer - Projects is to develop and maintain value-added relationships at multiple accounts (EPCs, Owner Companies) in order to position company as a preferred supplier. With goals of targeted project sales within a defined geographic area, the sales associate should always act in the best interest of the customer, applying sound ethics and service orientation. The sales associate is the primary customer interface and part of the team responsible for providing a variety of services, solutions, support and information in a manner that builds trust, confidence and long term business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. To identify key projects with respective Owners companies and EPCs.
2. Early engagement with Owner & PMC/EPC Companies in restricting AVL for all identified projects. Preparing a strategy documents for these projects.
3. Package vendor management.
4. Updating all details related to project activities in CRM.
5. Building rapport with consultants, architects, contractors, EPCs & end-users in South India
6. Route to market would be to seek approval from engineering consultants. Hence the incumbent would have to get product approved, provide correct solutions and then engage with contractors & PMCs to use the material.
7. Daily interaction with market network (end-users, consultants, contractors & architects) & developing the same.
8. Understanding market situation in terms of requirements with respect to competition, promotional activities by competitors, price factors and features comparison.
9. Analyzing competition in assigned geography and effectively protecting the market share
10. Feedback on market situations.
11. End user management-development and mentoring with an overall end to end service approach to customer.
12. Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
13. Builds a knowledge base of each client's business, organization and objectives.
14. Key Account Management.
15. Remains on the forefront of emerging industry practices.
