Job Description Summary
- Perform daily operations of Sourcing & Material availability to Program, Projects & MFG Plant.
- Floating RFQ's, Coordination with Supplier, Negotiations, PO release, follow up & ensure OTD & within budget.
- Localization & Sourcing Support - Includes Cross functional support to Product, Tendering & Projects team
- Support on Sourcing Strategy development, Vendor & Inventory Management
- Negotiate with dedicated providers according to specific policies.
- Achieve the best contractual conditions while also ensuring internal customer satisfaction.
Job Description Roles and Responsibilities - Define & Manage Sourcing strategies for Project & Programs for NPI's, localization within business unit or plant level, will be part of a production support in order to reach defined targets ins Safety, Cost, delivery timeline & Quality
- Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a discipline and analytical thinking to execute policy/strategy. Basic knowledge of related job disciplines Ensure Margin improvement thru continuous Cost out, Negotiation & new Initiative according to Industry benchmarks and standards.
- Supplier Management & Inventory (Material management)
- Floating RFQ'S – PO's release & Delivery
- Supporting business on LD's recovery with Supplier
- Developing specialized knowledge in their Own discipline. Has awareness of latest technical developments in own area.
- Has in-depth knowledge of best practices; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market / material availability
- Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas Negotiation, Project timeline, Cost outs & SCM support.
- Acts as a reference & resource for colleagues with less experience. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.
- The role has moderate autonomy, requiring high levels of operational judgement.
Required Qualifications - Graduate or Master's Engineering degree from an accredited university with 15 + Project , Plant Sourcing & SCM experience
- Master's in supply chain management will be added advantage.
- Hands on Tools Knowledge - SAP & PLM, Exposure to CAD tools will be advantage
Desired Characteristics - Strong oral and written communication skills.

- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
