Job description
Job Description : - Lead discussions with business stakeholders, third-party vendors, and partners to design model specifications aligning with Model Risk Management standards.- Develop models for Synchrony, evaluating efficacy and risk, adhering to Model Development procedures.- Write model documentation, support model validation, ensuring compliance with internal and external guidelines.- Stay updated on statistical modeling, data science, machine learning, and regulatory environment to guide stakeholders.- Support projects on root cause analysis, regulatory examinations, and internal audits of modeling processes.- Assess all model aspects, including design, implementation, data integrity, and ongoing monitoring effectiveness.- Machine learning certification preferable / SAS/ SQL/ Python/ Spark/ Scala or Hive Advanced algorithms (like XG Boost, Random Forest, Neural Networks , logistics etc) / IC role / Mentor people in future / Excellent comm skills- Drive better model risk management practices, efficiency, controls, and partnerships.- Extract and manipulate datasets using SQL, Python Spark, SAS, manage projects, and communicate effectively with stakeholders (ref:hirist.tech)
