As a PSI (Production, Sales and Inventory) Data Analyst, you will be responsible for generating accurate and insightful reports to support the PSI process within the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, analyze trends, and provide actionable insights to optimize the company's sales and operations strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources, including sales, production, inventory, and customer demand, to generate comprehensive PSI reports.
- Develop and maintain reporting processes and tools to ensure accurate and timely delivery of PSI reports.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, production, inventory, and customer service levels to identify trends and areas for improvement.
PSI Process Support:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, finance, and supply chain, to gather data and align on reporting requirements for the PSI process.
- Prepare and present reports and insights in PSI meetings to facilitate data-driven decision-making and drive consensus on sales forecasts, production plans, and inventory strategies.
Data Visualization:
- Utilize data visualization techniques and tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau) to create visually compelling and easy-to-understand PSI reports and dashboards.
- Highlight trends, patterns, and insights in the data to support strategic decision-making and drive continuous improvement within the PSI process.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including sales managers, operations managers, and finance teams, to understand their reporting needs and provide relevant and actionable insights.
- Communicate and present PSI reports and findings in a clear and concise manner, addressing any questions or concerns from stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay up to date with PSI best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies related to reporting and data analytics.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and standardization within the PSI reporting function.
- Actively participate in and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the PSI process.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years / Master's degree with 2-3 years' experience in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Reporting Analyst or similar role, preferably within an PSI or supply chain context.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience with data visualization techniques and tools to create visually appealing reports and dashboards.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting, ensuring data integrity and quality.
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to meet reporting deadlines.
