We are currently seeking a Software Development Specialist to join our team in Bangalore, Karntaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Role Summary

The purpose of the role is to gather systems development requirements from business users to analyse and validate requirements to produce high-level, low-level designs and specifications in line with standards and methodologies in use.

He/she is a team leader and a team player who integrates well into an agile environment to collaboratively work with the feature team to deliver the business goal.

He/She is a mentor who continuously improves the productivity and quality of the deliverables and strategizes and innovates along with the Application Responsible for continuous improvement

• Collaborates actively with the Application responsible and other leads with focus on continuous improvement
• Impactful communicator who can derive the required outcome during grooming, refinement, and review of product requirements.

Area of Responsibility

• Analyse the requirement and develop technical specifications
• Perform impact analysis on impacted systems and publish feedback
• Provide detailed estimates for requirements
• Induct best coding and security practices while developing applications
• Focus on reducing technical debts that will turn to a blocker in future sprints
• Transform the application development by introducing latest technologies and methodologies.
• Lead Technical discussions with customers to find the best possible solutions.
• Hands on experience in leading development team, performing code reviews and ensure the delivery of the project
• Ensure the team's productivity is measured and continuous improvement areas are identified, and action plans defined
• Provide detailed updates on status, impediments, risks and issues when required
• Participate in the full life cycle of a project, from its conception to its realization
• Provide adequate software solutions following best software development practices
• Identify risks and provide relevant solutions to complex problems and on-time delivery
• Work to ensure end users receive high quality, high performance, and useful solutions
• Familiar with agile methodologies and have prior experience working with agile teams using Scrum/Kanban
• Proficiency in Software Development best practices - Secure coding standards, Unit testing frameworks, Code coverage, Quality gates.

Knowledge / Experience

• Minimum 9 years of experience in IT with a minimum of 3 years' experience in leading end to end Web application development which includes Front end in Angular.
• Expertise in developing Web application using Angular (preferably version 15 or above)
• Expertise in developing front end inhering standard enterprise framework or platform which aids application development
• Expertise in web application basic skills including HTML/CSS, JavaScript with ES6 script
• Expert in Authentication and Authorization principles using Oauth2 or M2M
• Expertise in TDD approach using Jasmine
• Experience working with Agile Ecosystem - Principles, timeboxing, roles and ceremonies
