Credit Analyst, Project Finance (Hong Kong based role)

Job description
We are recruiting for a global bank that specializes in renewable energy finance and is a leading global bank that is making an impact in financing key renewable energy projects in the Asia region.
Key responsibilities:
- Credit Analysis responsibilities including structuring, due diligence and execution of transactions including limited and non-recourse financings to the renewable energy projects.
- Prepare pitches, term sheets and vetting sheets in co-operation with your deal team.
- Work on credit applications and credit approval process including interfacing with the risk department.
- Lead financial modelling efforts (including sensitivities and presentation of results).
- Work on due diligence of projects, including interaction with multiple external advisors and legal counsels.
- Take pro-active approach and react to project and market developments.
- Prepare periodic reviews and waivers, and collaborate with multiple departments (e.g. legal, finance, mid-office) within the organization to streamline the execution process.
- Pro-active portfolio management including early identification of stress and taking timely actions
- Actively contribute to internal projects
Role Requirements:
- 8+ years of relevant Credit Analyst experience in Project Finance for Energy sector in Asia, in particular India
- Masters degree in Finance from a reputable university
- Excellent financial modelling skills and analytical skills with experience in assessing complex financial transactions
- Knowledge of credit, legal, tax and lending practices
- Good interpersonal skills, team-player
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written
