Component development, Vendor Development, Purchase, SCM. Job Roles & Responsibilities

Role:

Development of Components for New Projects through Vendors.

Responsibilities: Development of Proprietary Vehicle components for Motorcycle & CV Projects as per Project timelines. (Components like Locks, CNG / LPG systems, Brakes, Fork & Shock Absorbers, springs, cables) End to End responsibility for Quality, Cost, Delivery of the Component.

Competency Requirements

Technical/ Functional: Technical/ Functional: Knowledge of manufacturing processes – Casting, machining, Rubber molding & Assembly / Testing. Zero based costing of components. Supply Chain Management and Vendor Development

Desirable: Knowledge of tools, jigs and fixture design and costing, TPM, PPAP, APQP, SAP.
