General Description of The Role This role gives you an opportunity to be part of commercial finance function for a dynamic company with aggressive growth plan in India, and be a trusted finance partner, playing a key role in analyzing state excise policies and preparing cost cards/pricing as per state excise policies and our business strategy - Thorough understanding of state excise act/policies and route to market
- Preparation of correct cost card/pricing as per state excise policy and our business strategy
- Ensuring finalization of cost card/pricing along with complete P&L analysis
- Timely renewal of cost cards basis change in excise policy
- Interaction with Distributor for resolving any queries related to cost card
- Internal stakeholder management, mainly with sales on aligning their inputs for cost card preparation/renewal. Also simultaneously aligning all other concerned stakeholders as may be required for activities such as state registrations/accounting/monthly closing/etc.
- External stakeholder management, to provide full support and necessary inputs to auditors both external and internal
The Ideal Candidate will be: - A commercial Finance partner having an understanding of alcobev industry in India, with in-depth knowledge of state excise act/policies and route to market
- Analyze and interpret state excise policies to provide the management team with appropriate inputs helping them in decision making.
- Adept at people management
The Ideal Candidate should possess the following: - Possesses a Degree in Accountancy/ Finance. ACCA or CPA or other relevant qualification is a plus
- An analytical mind with a strategic ability
- Work experience in alcobev industry in India, with in-depth knowledge of state excise act/policies and route to market
