What you are required to bring to the team:

In the growing E-commerce industry, content plays a vital role in accelerating business growth via information, inspiration and customer engagement. As a Content Manager for the Holidays segment leading funnel and inspirational content for the LoB, you will be responsible for communication excellence across touchpoints like itineraries, inspirational videos and blogs, mailers and newsletters, other funnel content, post-sales communication and also SEO content.

You will be the driving force behind the success of your team and would be managing multiple projects for the Holidays LoB. You should be very news and research oriented and should always have your ears and eyes open to everything happening in the travel business, to be able to lead cutting-edge inspirational travel content. You must possess the skillset to understand precious customer insights and convert them into customer-first content ideas. The same customer centricity should reflect in all the pre and post sales communication too. Most importantly, you should be passionate about creating strong communication pieces and processes that are scalable, innovative and solve for customer problems.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for seamless coordination with team members and stakeholders is a must.

What will you be doing: Leading a team of writers to drive creation of itineraries, package introductions, SEO content, inspirational content, post sales emailers etc—as per briefs. Giving ideas for blogs, newsletters, and other templates and themes for inspirational content, while ensuring that whatever is crafted by your team is error free, effective and on the defined brand tonality. Leading the team by example by crafting sample communications yourself, as required. Ensuring 100% consistency in content (style, format, font) and images. Identifying gaps in the existing content and suggesting new ideas based on customer and business demands.

Interaction Points: Work with cross-functional teams including Product, Supply, Category, Engineering to understand project requirements and execute them. Collaborate with external stakeholders/agencies to get work done in a defined and structured way.

Qualification & Experience: Graduation/Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism or related field with excellent communication skills. 10-15 years of work experience in content.
