What You'll Do

  • Operate as the product owner for an agile team, balance customer needs, tech priorities and product roadmap to ensure smooth delivery of the product vision.
  • Develop project schedule, defines timeframe, and prioritizes tasks to achieve project milestones and deliver intended objectives.
  • Ensure product vision, success criteria and business requirements are well defined and convert these to technical requirements (epics/tasks/stories)
  • Epics/tasks are clearly articulated & phased to facilitate timely delivery of functionality.
  • Understand customer usage and the product landscape and identify technical opportunities looking for opportunities for streamlining and automation.
  • Translate business requirements into workflows enabling automation.
  • Organise and facilitate regular stand-up meetings, the planning process, retrospectives, release plans and demos.
  • Promote an agile mindset, skillset and toolset. Ensure process is followed and work with the teams to help them adopt and improve.
  • Identify and remove impediments, prevent distractions that interfere with the ability of the team to deliver.
  • Monitor delivery velocity and identify + facilitate the resolution of risks and blockers.
  • Execute and organise work using the agile methodology (backlog grooming, sprint planning, standups, retrospective. etc)
  • Compiles data and analyzes the impact of process changes.
  • Shape technical solutions to a certain extent and address issues if the team is blocked on any deliverables
  • Responsible for communication & resolution of roadmap dependencies among other teams, which may include non-tech teams, both before and during execution
  • Communicates with stakeholders regarding solution delivery: roadmap, commitments and timelines [T4 and beyond].

Who You Are

  • BE/BTech/BS/MS/MCA in Computer Science or related technical discipline from Tier I institute with 3+ years' experience.
  • Qualification in computer science, engineering or related field.
  • 3 years product or program management using agile methodologies within a technology environment.
  • Understanding of a broad array of technology including collaboration tools, web infrastructure, systems engineering, cloud platforms and application lifecycle management.
  • Demonstrated experience with complex information architecture and ability to solve problems / make decisions using data analysis.
  • Excellent written and spoken interpersonal skills, including presentation and listening skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts to all audiences.
  • Experience turning business requirements into technical requirements
  • Strong and constructive interpersonal skills.
  • Responsibleforensuringproductscope,successcriteriaandbusinessrequirementsarewelldefinedbyproductmanagement.
  • Responsiblefortransformingbusinessrequirementsintotechnicalrequirements(stories),andstory prioritisation.
  • Workwithengineeringtoidentifyandarticulatesolutionapproach,sizing,andtimelineformeetingproduct requirements.
  • Responsible forstorygroomingandprioritisation,ensuringengineeringteamshaverunwaytopullproduct developmentworkintosprints.
  • PartnerswithProductandDeliveryManagerteamtocoordinatedeliverablescheduleandtimelineforproductdelivery,includingcoordinatingproductdemonstrationswithpartners.
  • PartnerswithProductOwnerbacklogprioritisation,drivestradeoffdecisionsinproductscope,features,timeline changes.
  • Responsibleforensuringengineeringtestingiscompleteandstorylevel acceptancecriteriaismet.
