About the Role
Project managers direct and monitor the work of employees under their supervision, such that projects are completed on time. Owing to their limited work experience, these professionals often work under the leadership of experienced project managers.
Responsibility -
- l Understand the project scope, budget, duration and create the project requirements needed to complete the project.
- l Supervise lower project manager levels, such as assistants and associates.
- l Schedule and conduct project meetings to communicate the team members' roles, project expectations, and deliverable and ensure the project team has the tools and training required to perform the project's task.
- l Monitor the projects regularly to evaluate the progress, quality, management issues emerging, and any events that might cause a delay in project completion.
- l Safeguard and maintain all the quality documents and data to ensure project integrity is enhanced.
- l Identify areas of conflict of interest, which might hinder project implementation and propose possible solutions to the conflict of interest.
- l Develop project plans and enhance adherence to the project plans to ensure project quality is maintained.
- l Design the project methodologies and deliverable and monitor all teams to enhance adherence to the best-identified methodology.
- l Identify project risks and prepare risk mitigation measures to enhance full utilization of project resources.
- l Maintain a good working relationship with project vendors to enhance quality and timely delivery of supplies.
Requirement -
- l Identifying needs that can be successfully addressed by projects.
- l Pitching project ideas and securing approval before each project commences.
- l Developing new project plans in consultation with stakeholders, including clients and staff.
- l Outlining the human and material resources required to successfully complete each project.
- l Formulating a resource allocation strategy, and utilizing this to distribute work and finances.
- l Monitoring staff performance to ensure excellence and adherence to specified deadlines.
- l Evaluating each project's effectiveness by consulting with clients, consumers, and staff.
- l Reporting on each project's utility upon the uptake of outputs.
Desirable -
- l Certified junior in project management.(will be a plus)
- l Proven working experience in project management.
- l Competence in IT, particularly in standard project management tools like PowerPoint and Excel.
- l Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- l Ability to work with strict datelines
- l Ability to work under pressure and complete project within a set duration and budget.
- l Conflict resolution skills.
