Job description
Overview: We are looking for a seasoned Principal Engineer in Cloud Technologies with deep expertise in Google Cloud. You will play a key role in migrating our systems from AWS to Google Cloud and act as the chief consultant for cloud architecture and solutions.
Responsibilities - Lead cloud architecture initiatives with a focus on Google Cloud.
- Provide expert consultation to Engineering Platform and Application teams.
- Oversee the migration of applications from AWS to Google Cloud.
- Mentor teams in cloud best practices and technologies.
- Collaborate with various teams to align cloud strategies with business objectives.
Qualifications - 9+ years of experience in cloud platforms, with a preference for AWS or GCP.
- 3+ years in architecting cloud solutions, specifically on Google Cloud.
- Must have AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or Google Cloud Architect certification.
- Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, Terraform, GitHub Action, Jenkins, Ansible, and cloud security.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
