Job Description SAP ABAP Consultant for S/4 HANA Implementation Project
We seek a highly skilled SAP ABAP Consultant with extensive experience and deep knowledge in core areas and concepts of SAP ABAP. As a crucial member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the development team in our S/4 HANA implementation project.
Responsibilities - Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop and enhance custom ABAP programs, reports, and interfaces in alignment with project goals and best practices.
- Perform thorough testing and debugging of ABAP developments to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring efficient development practices and adherence to coding standards.
- Assist in system integration testing, performance tuning, and optimization of ABAP applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Work closely with functional consultants to design and implement innovative solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP ABAP trends and technologies to recommend improvements and optimizations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Extensive experience as an SAP ABAP Consultant, with a proven track record in successful S/4 HANA implementation projects.
- Deep knowledge of SAP ABAP programming, data dictionary objects, and enhancements techniques.
- Proficiency in SAP S/4 HANA, ABAP CDS views, AMDP, and OData services.
- Strong understanding of SAP integration technologies, such as IDOCs, BAPIs, and RFCs.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques for ABAP programs.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to lead and mentor a development team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with stakeholders and team members.
