Job description
We are looking for highly motivated individual with 3-6 years of experience. In this role, you will audit financial documents and procedures, reconcile bank statements and calculate tax payments and returns. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with bookkeeping and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes.
Ultimately, you will provide us with accurate quantitative information on financial position, liquidity and cash flows of our business, while ensuring were compliant with all tax regulations. Day-to-Day Responsibilities for Accounts Executive
Prepare monthly and annual financial reports such as financial statements, MIS and budget
performance of group companies (India & Singapore).
Ensure compliance with applicable standards (i.e., GAAP, FASB), rules, regulations, and systems
of internal control
Aid in the implementation of new accounting policies, standards, and guidelines
Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial
information
Co-ordinate with external tax, compliance, payroll, and other consulting agencies.
Perform account reconciliations such as bank, COGS, Fixed Assets, Payroll, inventory control,
clearing, revenue accounts, etc.
Working knowledge of Taxation - GST, TDS PF & PT rates & filling procedures.
Assist with and act as the primary point-of-contact for auditor requests
Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
Qualifications
Qualifications for Accounts Executive
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of
education, training and experience
3-6 years of accounting/finance experience
Demonstrate intermediate to advanced skills and knowledge of Excel, as well as other
Microsoft Office applications
Experience with accounting software
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization
Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation
