Inviting applications for the role of Engineering Manager . Responsibility- Build customer facing technology product for CredAvenue's customers End to end ownership of the Product's frontend and backend development, building reusable, testable, and scalable components and products Research, evaluate, analyse and implement technical requirements and guide the team for arriving at the right technical decisions Collaborate with product management teams to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience Hire and Mentor Junior members of the team Work with a performance-oriented team members driven by ownership and open to experiments Work and flourish in a fast paced Start-up environment Requirements- Looking for person with 10+ years of solid experience in Engineering and Engineering Management of having developed products from scratch preferably in a Startup including development experience on Java Stack Must have a B.Tech/M.Tech/M.S. or equivalent degree from a top tier college like IITs/NITs/IIITs/Anna Univ Experience in Product development companies and FinTech Domain, Lending would be preferred Strong Architectural & Design skills Strong in coding, Data Structures and Algorithms Expertise in developing RESTful APIs and Services on Java stack Knowledge of databases like Postgres, MongoDB, Redis and search indexes Elasticsearch/Solr etc. Experience in Cloud Service Providers like AWS, Azure, GCP etc. Should have a strong focus on Quality, Scalability and Performance aspects of the product Should have a positive attitude and a proven track record of leading, hiring, strong teams of engineers and have the skills for mentoring and developing great people along with the skills for developing great products Should have good experience in project management in an Agile software development in a fast paced setup preferably in start-ups Solid hands-on experience and desire to build customer-centric products and work closely with Product Management and UX teams to achieve that Knowledge in testing tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, Protractor, Jasmine or Mocha, Jest and Enzyme, JMeter, Jenkins, or similar and equivalent tools would be great for working closely with the quality and testing teams Technology Preferred - Java, Golang or any open source technologiesJob tags
