Manage complete responsibilities of tenders from the receiving of tender to the submission of the tender
Prepare bill of quantities (BOQ) as per tender and approved shop drawings and compare with the client BOQ to check the financial aspects of the project
Prepare the project budget according to tender drawings and approved shop drawings
Understand and interpret contract agreement and specifications
Analyse the quotation and finalise the sub-contractor
Inspect the site location to understand transportation, availability of material, and nature of the soil, etc
Prepare variation orders and claims for the quantities not covered in BOQ
Prepare list of project materials and quantities and submit to Procurement Department
Attend project management review meetings
Prepare and check monthly payment certificates of sub-contractors
Prepare back charges of sub-contractor if work is delayed
Prepare weekly/monthly manpower reports, site progress reports and sub-contractors progress reports
Prepare RFIs (request for inspection) and material inspection and submit to client/consultant for approval
Follow up material supplies and sub-contract to deliver the material as per approved time schedule and monitor work progress
Establish, maintain, conduct and police detailed procedures for the submittal, review, co-ordination, approval and distribution of shop drawings, material samples, etc
Establish and maintain all project engineering files relating to subcontract and bid package records, plans, specifications, charges, clarifications and as-built documents
Prepare weekly and monthly payment certificates and follow up until approval from the client is obtained
Prepare purchase request and submit to Procurement Department
Monitor the materials and equipment status at warehouse, logistic department and site
Analyse information and evaluate results to select the best solution and solve problems
Excellent communication skills, particularly written English
