What will your roles and responsibilities be
- Understand market dynamics, negotiation and pricing, manufacturing processes for Medical devices, and risk mitigation.
- Effectively work with suppliers to negotiate optimal terms for sourcing. Understand the trade-offs between cost, volume, and quality in order to meet the requirement and secure long term supply continuity
- Assess and mitigate risks to the business. Manage global supply chain disruptions and ensure continuous supply of material
- Develop an in-depth understanding of value-added manufacturing processes and costs.
- Develop a capacity plan that meets Sales forecast
- Breakdown current procurement and production process, carry out gap analysis and fix them
- Work with the Contract manufacturers, provide forecast to them and ensure quality and timely delivery of the product
- Conduct onsite audit of Suppliers/Contract manufacturers as per Standard
- Maintain COGS for all products and track them against each production order
- Investigate and take appropriate action in case of any process deviation, non-compliance, market complaints, Product failures, product recalls.
- Take ownerships of implementation of the SOPs as per ISO 13485, drive changes to the SOPs to meet the current processes
- Ensure all procurement and production records are maintained as per the compliance What are the key requirements for the role
Worked with multiple suppliers and manufacturers across the globe
Have managed sourcing of electronic parts and production for Electronic Products, if done for Medical Devices then it is plus You are obsessed with perfection and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and work towards several milestones on various projects simultaneously
You find it easy to take a complex problem and break it down into manageable steps.
You are constantly curious and have a tinkerer attitude. Additional good-to-have(s)
