Job description

Position: Executive - Quality

Industry Experience: Food/Beverage Industry Experience only

Role Summary

Quality Assurance Executive is responsible for all activities of Lab, On-Line Quality Assurance and

Final check. He/She has to carry out all activities in such a way so as to ensure that quality

production and laid down performance standards are met in all manufacturing and other processes

at site.

Product Quality

1) Ensure all the batch process & quantity of all material is same as specified by recipe with

accurate line check and control.

2) Ensure DPMU is kept under internal targets and there is no depot hold and zero customer &

consumer complaint.

3) Ensure that Labs (RM, PM, FG, Micro and On-Line) are fully equipped with required facilities

and test equipment as required by Principal Company specifications.

4) Ensure internal Audits are done annually and closure of NCs within agreed time.

5) Ensure product recall & traceability from RM to FG & vice-versa.

6) Ensure complaint handling & CAPA should be done for every complaint received.

7) Ensure control of non-conforming material.

Critical Control Point (CCP) Monitoring

1) Ensure HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) study annually & review if any

process design change needed.

2) To check and ensure that all CCP-Critical Control Points are in order.

3) To discuss and evaluate all critical activities related to quality and informed to the concerned

department immediately or in periodical meetings based on the criticality of that activity.

Retention Sample

1) Ensure that all samples and documents are stored as per company policy.

2) To ensure that product samples to be kept shift-wise, day-wise, cascade-wise/ machine-

wise, SKU-wise.

MIS Reports-Daily/Weekly/Monthly

1) Ensure timely submission of MIS of Quality department to GM-Operations.

Calibration and Maintenance:

1) To ensure timely maintenance and calibration of all Lab instruments and equipment.

2) Ensure timely external calibration of all instruments.

Quality & Process Internal & External Audits:

1) To conduct Process and Quality Audits on monthly basis and submit report to GM-

Operations.

2) To facilitate the smooth conduct of Quality audits like FSSAI, BRC, WCM, GMP and HH as per

defined standards and procedures.

3) Review all non-conformances of previous audits & resolve them within time frame.

Training & Development:

1) Ensure adequate training is given to own team and production department team regularly

on gaps noticed in production processes.
