Job description

ROLE:

We are looking for a versatile Senior Data Scientist who is ready to use their knowledge and expertise in creating different complex statistical models, with a good understanding of different types of forecasting methods.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and implement advanced statistical models, including but not limited to market mix models, propensity models, demand forecasting, sales forecasting, and churn analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions. Utilize Python and other relevant tools to preprocess, analyze, and visualize large datasets. Work on end-to-end model development, from data collection and preprocessing to model training, validation, and deployment. Conduct thorough exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, trends, and insights. Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices in data science into our processes.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS: Bachelor's/Master's/Ph.D. in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field). Proven experience (4-6 years) in developing and implementing various statistical models, with a focus on market mix models, propensity models, demand forecasting, sales forecasting, and churn analysis. Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis and modeling.

Experience with relevant tools and libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch. Solid understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
