The SLB India Technology Center has a fundamental and critical role in this corporate transformation and for delivering digital solutions to the larger SLB organization. About the role SLB has an opening in Pune, India for a Senior BI Analyst, who will be responsible for working with SAP BI / HANA Team in designing, developing and deploying SAP BI Solutions to cater to the growing Business demand. Key responsibilities § Work with Domain and Technical Teams to design and implement BI/HANA reporting solutions § Perform Data Modelling to create HANA Information Models to cater to the business needs § Interact with Business Stakeholders to understand their structured and ad-hoc reporting requirements, business rules for Finance and other SAP Domains § Leverage data warehousing concepts and knowledge, SDI/SDA and ETL development methodologies to contribute to overall planning by recommending approaches for deployment within the defined Timelines § Engage in the day-to-day activities within each program to understand progress, provide guidance where needed, ensure adherence to plans/expectations/methodology, hold teams and individuals accountable for milestones and deliverables. People § Will work as an individual contributor within the team § Create a culture of integrity and compliance Technology § Write technical specifications and review with Technical Architects § Configure, prepare, and test deliverables to meet designs. § Provide consulting and conduct reviews through the development lifecycle § Manage deliverables according to the Software Development Lifecycle § Deployment and Testing of HANA Information Models/Reporting Interfaces in Dev, Quality and Production environments § Follows the technical governance (standards, best practices, etc.) Business § Engage with the business segments and internal stakeholders to capture SAP BI requirements, § Work closely with analysts, designers and SMEs § Work closely with internal stakeholders associated with IT. External Presence § Engage with the external technical and business community to brand and differentiate BI implementation in SLB, § Participate in technical forums and other appropriate events. Qualifications and Requirements Essential qualifications § Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field § 1 - 2 Yrs. Of Experience in implementing SAP BI HANA Solutions using Native HANA Modelling and SAP BusinessObjects or Power BI techniques § Excellent communication, verbal and written skills Key competencies in BI Technologies § Strong in SAP HANA Technical knowledge with Implementation experience in leading and executing complex HANA Reporting designs across the functional Areas § Experience working in developing HANA Models like - Calculated Views -Graphical and Script, stored Procedures and Table Functions required § Expertise in HANA view optimization and performance techniques with Good understanding of overall HANA Architecture § Strong experience in HANA programming with SQL and database procedural languages such as PLSQL § Strong Knowledge in Data provisioning technology including SAP LT Replication Server, Smart Data Integration (SDI). § Deep understanding of the SAP data structures, fields, and how to best utilize the analytical and reporting solutions in S/4HANA, specifically Core Data Services (CDS) views based Virtual Data Model (VDM). § Demonstrated experience with BI and data integration tools. Preferred ones: SAP Business Objects Suite (all components)/Visualization Tools (Power BI), SAP S4 HANA, HANA Live Views and related development. § Must demonstrate proven development experience with SAP BusinessObjects (4.1 or higher). § Experience in developing Visualization reports and dashboards using Power BI skills § Cross Domain knowledge like FICO, MM, SD, EAM will be an added advantage.
