Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bokaro for a Factory Manager. The Factory Manager will be responsible for overseeing the production and manufacturing process, managing the production team, ensuring quality control, and implementing and improving production efficiency. They will also be responsible for operations management, maintaining equipment, and optimizing manufacturing operations.
Detailed Job Role
- Managing the production team of 4 permanent operators and 7 temporary staff members.
- Ensuring quality control and implementing and improving production efficiency.
- Providing weekly Safety trainings and ensuring that safety standards are met.
- Ensuring that Production timeline and Delivery Schedules are met.
- Managing and negotiating with the logistics partners for cost-efficient transportation mediums.
- Working as a mediator between the staff members and organization's management.
- Ensuring that all operators and staff members are treated equally and in a justifiable manner.
- Building proper communication with our vendee partners in terms of Quality Standards, delivery lead time, inspection lead time, incoterms, price negotiations and after sale service, if applicable.
- Interpreting Mechanical Drawings and initiating proper discussions with the operators, ensuring no room for errors.
Qualifications
- Freshers Can Apply
- Production Planning and Production Management skills
- Quality Control experience would be a plus (not mandatory)
- Operations Management experience would be a plus (not mandatory)
- Manufacturing Operations knowledge
- Ability to understand and interpret Mechanical Drawings and QAP.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of safety regulations and workplace health
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, Management or a related field is preferred
- Experience in a production or manufacturing management role would be a plus (not mandatory)
Salary Description
- Selected Candidate will have to undergo a two months training program in the field of production line, assembly and safety. Thus, she/he will be offered a stipend of 18000 - 25000 (negotiable , depending on the level of experience)
- Post-Completion of the training, she/he will be offered an annual CTC of 4 - 6.5 LPA (negotiable , depending on the level of experience)
- In case of selected candidate being a female, will be offered safe lodging options nearby, during her training days.(stipend will be adjusted accordingly)
Work Timings : 9:00 am to 5:30 pm
